AMES, Iowa Mitt Romney has cancelled a planned campaign rally Sunday night in Virginia Beach due to the threat of Hurricane Sandy, a campaign official said Friday.

Romney had scheduled three campaign rallies across Virginia on Sunday, but will not make the final stop, which was to be at the Farm Bureau Live Ampitheater in Virginia Beach.
