After a resort 2013 collection full of sculptural ruffles, Balenciaga continued the motif in its spring collection, opening with asymmetrical waves on skirts, peplums, and sleeves. The looks segued into tweed separates before ending on skirts featuring a print that resembled both thorny branches and barbed wire. A nod to Kristen Stewart Snow White running through the forest to escape the Huntsman, perhaps?
