Hey, some stuff happened that doesn’t have to do with the Emmy Awards. For starters, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day is reportedly heading to rehab on the heels of a profanity-filled tirade at the iHeartRadio Festival over the weekend in which he reminded us all that he is “not [expletive] Justin Bieber.” The rant occurred after Usher’s performance carved out 20 minutes of Green Day’s stage time and Armstrong flipped out when he was warned that the band had just one minute left to perform. Armstrong later issued an apology. He is seeking treatment for unspecified substance abuse. Green Day also has canceled all upcoming promotional appearances even though their new CD, “Uno!” releases Tuesday. (Associated Press)
