Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow struggled at quarterback during the New York Jets' preseason loss to the New York Giants on Saturday night. Sanchez went 9-for-11 passing for 59 yards and threw a pick-six late in the first half. Tebow went 5-for-14 for 69 yards.
Analysis: Neither quarterback had a good night, but Sanchez at least looked accurate when he had time to throw the ball. Tebow looked exactly like we expect him to look at this point. Sanchez again solidified himself as the starter to begin the year but Tebow's presence means lost snaps, especially in the red zone. Even if Sanchez had the position all to himself there would be little to recommend from a fantasy perspective here. He is a QB2 at best if your league allows it. Even as backup Sanchez may be better left to the waiver wires, however.
